Elias, a cemetery caretaker, discovers what he believes to be a weeping icon of Saint Anastasia at a nearby dump and places it on display in the cemetery. The site soon attracts visitors convinced the icon can fulfill their hopes and desires. As devotion grows, Elias struggles under the weight of being deemed “worthy,” a burden that tests his faith, his self-belief, and the role he feels has been divinely assigned to him as the icon’s chosen guardian.
